Kashara Scott joins as a Brand Consultant, supporting the company’s work in helping clients to better understand their brand positioning and stakeholder perceptions, with Nic Burrill taking on the role of Associate Creative Lead to support and enhance the practice’s design capabilities.

Kashara began her career in Argentina, marketing for a foreign investment real estate company. Having returned to London, she worked in financial and corporate communications, advising international clients across the financial services, luxury and retail industries. She specialised in devising stakeholder programmes to help clients enhance brand familiarity, corporate reputation and analyst following.

Her desire to work closer to the development of commercial strategy and experience of the luxury industry’s client-centric approach led her to Paris, where she read a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in brand management. At BLUE Inspire, she applies her experience from other disciplines, sectors and regions to help her clients solve complex challenges and achieve their commercial objectives.

Nic has more than 30 years’ experience, and provides effective and creative solutions from concept development through to implementation. He has collaborated with companies at the highest managerial levels, advising on brand design and development, media and internet solutions, film and animation and product design. Previous clients include, Lloyd’s Register, LRQA, Anemoi Marine and ICAEW.

He began his career working in the music and film industries, collaborating on albums for the Beatles and Radiohead, as well as creating promotional material for EMI, Universal Music Group and Warner Bros.

Inspire was born from a growing necessity for companies to have a strong purpose, vision and values to demonstrate their unique position in the industry. Marrying its world-class understanding of the power of brand with an in depth knowledge of the marine and energy markets, Inspire advises clients on brand management, helping them to communicate more effectively, providing solutions to challenges and adding enterprise value.

Commenting on the appointments, Mark Stokes, Director, BLUE, said: “Companies in the marine and energy markets are increasingly recognising the value of brand. They are waking up to the fact that they need to improve the quality and content of their communications for a variety of stakeholder audiences as scrutiny from outside the industry, including investors and consumers, intensifies, amid a trend for greater commodisation in the marine and energy markets.

“We’re delighted to welcome Kashara and Nic, who will help Inspire’s clients tell their story in more compelling, consistent and imaginative ways, enabling us to continue growing BLUE’s multidisciplinary offer.”
