Titan LNG has chosen BLUE Communications as its global PR and communications partner to support the company’s growing position as a European and global market leader, and to communicate the potential of liquified natural gas (LNG) and bio-LNG as a pathway to achieving the International Maritime Organization’s  upcoming emissions targets for 2030 and 2050.

Established in 2012 and based in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region, Titan LNG supplies LNG as a marine fuel and is expanding bunkering operations across Europe and Asia. BLUE’s remit includes media relations, social and digital media management, as well as speaker opportunities at industry events and webinars.

“We’ve known the Titan LNG team for some time, and we’re thrilled to now be supporting their communications efforts,” said director and BLUE Engage Lead, Amie Pascoe.

“LNG as a marine fuel is certainly no new kid on the sustainability block, but we’ve seen a significant acceleration of uptake over the past year. The emergence of bio and synthetic LNG as credible enablers to shipping’s decarbonisation conundrum paints LNG in a new light.

“The ability to use existing LNG infrastructure means that the roll out of green hydrogen production can directly result in decarbonisation of LNG as a fuel via synthetic LNG made from hydrogen and CO2 from bio mass. Titan LNG has a central role to play in the energy transition. We’re excited to be working alongside the team during this pivotal time for shipping and environmental progress.”

Titan LNG expects to have the largest network of LNG bunkering vessels in Europe by 2025 and works with its partners, both in Europe and around the world, to ensure that shipowners are able to start the journey towards a zero-carbon future today.
