BLUE and Norton Rose will be hosting a panel discussion: ‘Perspectives On: The Risk and Reward of Regulatory Compliance’ at Norton Rose’s London Office on Tuesday 25 November 3pm – 5pm, sponsored by Lloyd’s Register.
Regulation is having an increasingly transformative impact on modern shipping. The North American and European 0.1% sulphur Emissions Control Areas (ECAs), coming into force from 1 January 2015, represent a seismic challenge tomany owners and operators. But how will the industry react to compliance, policing, new legal requirements, reputational risk and other complex challenges?
BLUE and Norton Rose Fulbright will be hosting a Q&A discussion with leaders from across the industry who will be examining the financial, legal, environmental and reputational risks associated with meeting compliance requirements over the next decade, as well as exploring how the industry can create commercial advantages from responding positively to these changes.
