As BLUE consolidates its position in the shipping, energy and defence sector, the company has significantly strengthened its team with the appointment of two new account managers, Clare-Marie Dobing and Clare Anderson.

Clare-Marie is a trained journalist with five years of corporate and business-to-business communications experience in the energy, utilities and property sectors. Through both in house and agency roles, she has worked on a wide range of projects covering media relations, event management, social media, marketing communications and public consultation. Prior to joining BLUE, she worked for the London-based public relations agency Quatro, leading on accounts for clients including Statkraft, Mabey Bridge and The Crown Estate.

Clare joins BLUE from an in-house role at leading global defence and security organisation BAE Systems, where she devised and implemented communications campaigns around a variety of naval platforms and systems. With experience of working with various stakeholders across government, UK and foreign navies, regional, national and international media, industry and local communities, she worked across a range of communications disciplines within this role. At BLUE Clare works with both defence and shipping clients, such as leading sub-sea rescue and engineering company James Fisher Defence, the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office and asset protection and control experts Parker Kittiwake. She will have a significant role in developing and growing the BLUE Defence and Security business.

The arrival of our two new account managers is an important step in strengthening BLUE’s offering to these industries and both Clare-Marie and Clare’s extensive experience will be integral to our ongoing growth.”
