On Friday 14th January, BLUE’s NGO client the Carbon War Room held a free global webinar giving a practical guide to their recently launched ShippingEfficiency.org website.
BLUE’s Managing Director Alisdair Pettigrew chaired the webinar in which the Carbon War Room’s COO, Peter Boyd, and industry expert John Lewis, Principle Marine Consultant at ES Link Services, guided over 110 participants through the site; an initiative to reveal transparent information on vessel efficiency.
A brief background of the site and why is was created was followed by a demonstration of the site functionality and finally the Carbon War Room tackled the hard-hitting questions sent in by industry participants in an in-depth forty minute Q&A session.
