BLUE was recently tasked by global shipping, logistics and marine services provider GAC to launch its innovative HullWiper hull cleaning solution in the European market. The exclusive event in Rotterdam was billed as a discussion on the measures that ports and owners can take to improve their environmental and operational efficiencies. Environmental luminaries from both industry and media attended for the discussion and a live demonstration of the technology. The event was also streamed live to viewers around the world.
Last month, BLUE repeated this success with an event for Castrol, the leading global marine lubricants manufacturer. Singapore proved the perfect venue for a thought-provoking discussion on eco-efficiency and newbuild trends. The Castrol ‘Vision Exchange’ saw 80 attend in person and a further 100 view by webinar – and tapped into Singapore’s high-calibre community of shipowners, operators and technical directors.
The events were immensely successful and allowed both GAC and Castrol to tap into local markets, make business connections and further cement their positions as thought leaders within their respective markets.
