BLUE has enjoyed a fantastic first quarter, partnering with a range of new retained clients as well as exciting events and projects across various sectors of the shipping industry. In December 2015, we began work with leading marine energy expert, Adrian Tolson to launch his new 20|20 Marine Energy consultancy. This started the ball rolling at pace and in January 2016 we signed with leading international marine consultancy Brookes Bell, followed quickly in February by a discovery project to develop the brand of Norwegian hardware and software solutions provider Høglund Marine Automation, as well as a project centred around the Seatrade Cruise event with FinPro, an organisation that helps Finnish SMEs enter the international market and attract investment. March saw a bumper month of new retained work beginning with Trelleborg Oil & Marine, the leading supplier of innovative flexible bonded hoses for crude oil, chemicals, and LPG/LNG offshore transfer applications. We also began work with the leading innovators in rotor sail technology Norsepower, as well as Genoil, the publicly traded clean technology engineering company for the petroleum industries. We’ve also had the fantastic opportunity to continue our work with Castrol Marine on forthcoming events activity.
To help us keep pace with the dynamic and growing list of clients, BLUE has welcomed a few new faces into the fold. We are pleased to be joined by new junior account managers Georgey Routen and Kwilole Chisuse-van der Boom, and new account executive Rhys Thomas, who join the team in Oxford.
