We are proud to announce that BLUE Communications has joined the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).

As the newest consultancy to join the leading trade association for the PR and communications sector, we are looking forward to the peer-to-peer learning opportunities and investment in skills that the PRCA has to offer, whilst also representing the marine and energy sectors to the wider PR community.

Welcoming BLUE to the association, Francis Ingham MPRCA, Director General, PRCA, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome BLUE to PRCA’s ever-growing membership. The PRCA exists in part to help develop the skills of individuals through its training programmes and through the sharing of ideas from its members. I am pleased to know that BLUE both recognises this and joins the PRCA to become a contributing organisation.”

Commenting on the company’s latest milestone, Alisdair Pettigrew MPRCA, Managing Director, BLUE, said: “BLUE has genuinely pioneered the importance of brand and reputation in our specialist sectors, creating a new market for strategy-led PR in marine and energy. We’re delighted to be joining the PRCA, an organisation committed to flying the flag for PR and promoting professional standards, as we also continue to drive up standards in our sectors. We’re looking forward to the opportunities to learn from fellow members, to share our insights and experience as a specialist consultancy, and to exchange knowledge and ideas with our industry peers. The PRCA also offers unrivalled opportunities for us to invest in the skills of our growing team, which is incredibly important to us.”

The PRCA is the trade association for the public relations and communications industry, representing over 400 agency members from around the world, including the majority of the top 150 UK consultancies. It exists to raise standards in PR and communications, share best practice, and create networking opportunities. All PRCA members are bound by a professional charter and codes of conduct.
