BLUE has signed a contract with leading marine coating technology company International Paint to deliver a comprehensive communications programme.
The appointment follows a successful extended project between BLUE and International Paint that culminated in an independent report identifying the unique fuel and carbon savings derived from International Paint’s ‘fluropolymer’ technology being accepted by the United Nations’ International Maritime Organisation.
BLUE will help to support the development of a communications platform for International Paint that extends through to all key stakeholders, with particular focus on meeting the challenges facing the shipping industry in terms of ensuring both high quality, as well as sustainable products that deliver value.
Alisdair Pettigrew, Managing Director for BLUE commented: “BLUE has developed a great relationship with International Paint, the leading provider of marine hull coating solutions to the international shipping fleet. They are a farsighted company that understands that communications that extends beyond just the media to include multi-faceted stakeholders is essential in commanding a leadership position in a fast changing industry. On this basis, Blue and International Paint are a great fit.”
